The Ruby, located at 435 East 200 South is in Downtown Salt Lake City. It is convenient to both the heart of Downtown and the University of Utah as well as three major hospitals, local dining, bike routes and public transportation. This Victorian Era building was built in 1908 and every apartment has hardwood floors, high ceilings, good closet space and either a private balcony or private entrance. Most Apartments also have a bay window – the higher ones have a window seat and some have a mountain view.
There are four floors in the building. The first floor is a half-basement boasting full size windows and lots of natural light – you hardly know you are in the basement. These apartments all have private entrances while the upper apartments all have interior entrances and private balconies. The Ruby has 16 one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments and 7 two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments. There are also two single-family homes located on the property – behind the parking lot – a one-bedroom, one-bathroom house and a two-bedroom, one-bathroom house.
